round vases 9.6.2018

Here’s a group of round vases I recently finished.

This is just after throwing them on the potters wheel. I left the openings raw and uneven on purpose because I wanted a wabi-sabi look/feel to these vases.

Here they are with the bottoms trimmed and black slip added. This is just prior to their first firing

And here they are after the final firing.

A few of these vases are currently available on my Etsy site.  I love the way they turned out, and intend to make more!
