My garden is looking gorgeous this spring. Here are photos of just a few 😉 of the plants that I tend.
Ferns: Ostrich (Matteuccia struthiopteris,) Maidenhair (Adiantum) and Japanese Painted (Athyrium niponicum)
Barrenwort (Epimedium) – three types
Forget-Me Not (Myosotis)
Hosta and Lungwort (Pulmonaria)
Columbine (Aquilegia) (Hybrids)
Leaves of Peony and Japanese Red Maple (Acer palmatum)
Leaves of Bugbane Black Negligee (Actaea simplex) and Raspberry (Rubus)
Purple Iris, and Dahlias (corms overwintered in my basement, sprouted and waiting to be planted)
Jacobs Ladder (Polemonium,) White Trillium amongst Threadleaf Coreopsis (Coreopsis Verticillata,) and Solomon’s Seal (Polygonatum)
Primrose, or Primula. Love her ruffled leaves!
Meadow Rue (Thalictrum)
Lily of the Valley (Convallaria majalis) and Daffodil (Narcissus)
Strawberry Tristan (Fragaria ananassa) These beautiful hanging strawberry pots are buried under leaves in my raised bed garden each winter. Look how happy they are now that spring has arrived!
