I just finished up with 3 art sales in the last 2 weeks. Whew! It’s a lot of work! Here’s a photo of the lists I make in order to keep myself sane. Each show requires different setup and display supplies, so checking items off the list as I gather them up helps keep me organized.
At the end of April, I participated for the third time in Cattywampus, a sale and silent auction put on by a group of local female artists and crafters, to raise money for non-profits. This time we raised over $3000 that was split between the Dane County Rape Crisis Center and Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin.

Less than a week later, I participated in the biannual Madison Gallery Night, and showed my wares with the other members at Midwest Clay Project.

And two days after Gallery Night was the Marquette-Atwood Neighborhood Art Walk, which is a walking tour/sale of about 25 artists. It was my first time participating in this annual event. I had about 50 people stop by. Some were walking, some bicycled, and others drove the Art Walk.

And here’s a photo of yours truly with all my wares! Three tables inside the garage and 3 more on the driveway (many borrowed from my lovely neighbors), displaying all the pieces I have to sell! It was great to get all my work displayed in one setting. Several visitors commented on the variety of styles I offer, and my tidy garage;) I’m glad the sales are over for awhile! I’ll be updating my Etsy site in the next month with many pieces that are still available.
