I kept very busy last week, making four Valentines. I found the idea at Design Sponge. Each Valentine includes an envelope that I made out of heavier paper with a cut-out heart in the front. A little booklet or “mini-zine” slides into the envelope, full of pen sentiments and watercolor drawings. The first photo below shows one of the envelopes with the booklet slid halfway in in. Following that are photos of selected pages. Although this project took more time than I imagined, I loved designing and painting these Valentines!
