I started drawing daily on October first of this year, so it’s been almost 70 days of daily drawings. A few I’m not happy with at all, and feel momentarily a bit irritated that I spent time on a drawing that looks like crap. But I take a breath, and remind myself that it doesn’t happen often, AND even better, I am learning every time I draw. I’m probably learning even more when, to my eyes, the drawing doesn’t work. It teaches me what not to try next time;-) Here’s a black and white abstract. I started with pencil, then as I drew over the pencil with pen, I changed some of the lines and pattern. I think it works.
